GATHERING IN GOD’S NAME

PRELUDE
“Spiegel im Spiegel” (9:00) Arvo Pärt

As the prelude begins, you are invited to begin your personal preparation for worship.

SILENT MEDITATION
“Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy. That is not our business, and, in fact, it is nobody’s business. What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy.” – Thomas Merton

CALL TO WORSHIP
Arise, shine; for our light has come! The glory of the Lord has risen upon us.
Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
Let us kneel down before him to give him honor, glory and praise
Jesus Christ is the light of the world
Let us offer him all the treasures of our hearts and our lives
Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
